2021 Texas Youth Creators Awards

[By Texas Library Association:  The Texas Youth Creators Awards, previously named the Texas Media Awards, promote excellence in amateur media production and its importance in lifelong learning. Since 1988, it has been an annual, statewide event open to school-aged Texas residents. Each entry will be reviewed and submitted by a sponsoring librarian to ensure copyright compliance and to highlight the important roles librarians play in technology integration and instruction. Qualified, impartial volunteers judge entries on criteria for each individual contest division.]

Congratulations to Paola Avila and Julian Garcia and their sponsors Mrs. Michelle Iruegas, Mr. Esli Galvan and Mr. Raul Garcia for placing in this competition! 

Paola Avila submitted “Jarritos” in the Color Photography category and placed (place to be announced) and Julian Garcia won 1st place in the Digital Music Composition category! Way to go students! We are so proud of you!! yessmiley
